hi,
i hope someone has some advice for me as im about to loose it!
re-mortgaged in july, no problems and credit report fine.
put our house up for sale after finding our dream home, we were told we could just port the mortgage when we were sorted.
we got an offer on our house put an offerin on the dream house all within 2 weeks of going on the market, too good to be true ?
we then went to the bank to port the mortgage to be told no chance due to partners credit report.
his bank acount which he closed 5 months ago was in arrears , his loan from said bank also in arrears, we had never missed a payment.
after going in to the bank they admitted the errors and said they would update credit file.
this has gone on for another 2 weeks still cant procede with morgage as they havent taken it off file.
the bank are saying they have sent relevent info to equifax, equifax say they have nothing from them.
our vendors are now backing out.
please help.
