He he I know, Ive had a a rubbish couple of months of no wins since I started this, now Ive slowed down my entries cos Ive been so busy, so its great to get something so nice through the post!

Im keeping my fingers crossed for you though! Heres to a fab xmas! x x
    Won 2012:
Bobbi Brown Mascara / TRIA System
    Raceday Tickets / Dainty Doll Make-Up /
Garnier Face Serum / Tanning Kit
  • I'm also hoping to win birthday/xmas presents for people or money/vouchers to buy them with. The trouble is I have a lot of people I usually buy for! My parents, siblings and cousins, my partner plus his parents, grandparents, aunt, sister & nephews! I also usually buy a little something for a few friends kids and one of my good friends. I don't usually spend much on each gift but it all adds up! I spend the most on my immediate family and my partner and just a little something for everyone else. I know I should cut down on the amount of people I buy for but I just feel mean! I dread coming up to xmas and then when January comes around and I really struggle! So if I could win just a few bits for xmas it would really help!

    So, fingers crossed!

I've been doing this too and it's good to see your post and know others do it :)

I've already won some jewellery, firming serum and some skincare stuff that are going to be gifts so I'm on my way :j

Luckily I don't have many to buy for since my American hubby's family don't celebrate Xmas at all. Plus I make some crafty things or fudge etc to go with presents to cut costs.

    Good luck all!

May you all have lots of luck, Emma xx

Oh how I hate January, its my main motivation for this whole thread! Hoping this xmas may be a little better for you though!

How many comps do we all enter a day?

I go through stages, on a weekend I can enter over a 100 per day!

PurpleSkull - Thats brilliant! You'll soon be done at this rate! I would ideally love to be finished shopping/winning for xmas in October!

doodygirl - Yes, thats the same mistake ive made in the past! But esp. with a little baby, you'll need all the help for xmas time!

Oh I love reading what everyones won! Definately have to come back after xmas and share how everyone loved their gifts (hopefully anyway!) x x x

  • Its a good idea, but my problem is I get too excited when I win (or buy for that matter) something that I know someone else would love and I just can't wait to give it to them. My last win was some Peppa Pig books which my daughter loves. I did think about putting them away till christmas, but I just wanted to give her them ASAP. Ive not won in July yet, but there's still time I suppose. Also Im only entering 40 or so a day as a lot of the comps are just prizes I or anyone else I know wont really want. Dont have a lot of people to buy for

    DH
    DS
    DD1
    DD2
    MIL

    Thats it.
Current Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday
Best Wins: Ipad, Nintendo 3DS, £400 Shopping Spree at LK Bennett, £100 Boots vouchers
Total Wins (Since April 2012) £3442.56
Big thanks to all who post comps :T:beer:
