How do you win?

Interested to know how you guys win so much? I don't think I've won anything in my life.

Do you just enter everything going?

I enter things I'd like to win or things I think I can give as gifts to someone else. I don't ever enter spa break comps, comps for flights only (like winning half a comp), comps for tickets for bands I don't like or comps for adventure breaks.

I think it's just the sheer volume of entries. ie the more you enter, the more chance you have of winning something. I only enter for things I or my family/friends would like. I've been disappointed on "winning" something I don't really want and then you have to decide what to do with it, when someone could have won it who really wanted it.

I have won a fair amount, but then you get out what you put in.

Yep, I'm a complete competition tart. I draw the line at childrens competitions and weddingy type things, but otherwise, I'll either plan to give things to friends/family, save them for prezzies for people, or if I think it's worth it, I'll enter comps and sell the stuff on Amazon/ebay.
Not won much, but still hoping for that spa break or holiday, as I can't afford a holiday this year.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
