Accounting software

At the moment I use a simple excel spreadsheet to record monies in and out including refernce numbers of invoices, dates etc and the spreadsheet totals up turnover, profit and expense etc.

However, could do with some proper software now.

Thing is, don't want to be spending a fortune on something like sage, so does anyoine have any good reccomendations?

Just need balance sheets, records of money in and money out with facilities to match an invoice number to the money recieved etc.

hi I work as a book keeper, and have used lots of different software the one that seems easiest is money manager supplied by my husbands accountant, very easy, quick and most important foolproof. I also used excel prior to this but found money manager quicker! Dont think it is much as I have sen the program advertised in places such as Mackro, also free with some machines
