Hi, I'm hoping someone could suggest some decent (at least drinkable!) instant coffee that is fairtrade and reasonably priced too, please?
Thank you! :T

M&S instant is fairtrade and cheaper than many. I find the quality is good too. Sometimes it goes on offer.0

1jim,
Cafedirect is on offer at Tesco, all 227g packs are currently 2 for £6 (£1.32/100g).
Sainsbury's Basics Roast & Ground Fairtrade Coffee (227g) is currently £1.69 (74.4p/100g) and Sainsbury's Original Blend for Filters Medium Roasted Fairtrade Ground Coffee (454g) is currently £4.19 (92.3p/100g). And Sainsbury's Continental Style Fairtrade Coffee (454g) £4.25 (93.6p/100g) (these are all normal prices).
Don't know of any websites I'm afraid.0 -

Is the Sainsbury's Basics any good? I quite like a lot of their Basics range but haven't tried the coffee.0

I like Sainsburys Basics ground coffee and it's fairtrade. There's never much on the shelves so it must be popular.
I don't know about the instant, I wasn't great when I tried it years ago.0 -
another vote for M&S instant fairtrade

Thanks for the replies so far. I need the instant coffee for a coffee morning encouraging people to swap to fairtrade - hopefully by showing them an affordable and acceptable alternative to their usual brands (Nescafe/Kenco etc) so it needs to taste decent and not be too expensive. I've got the Sainsbury's Basics teabags as they're fairtade and make a pretty decent cuppa (27p for 80 teabags!
) so just need to sort the coffee.
