Satisfied CCJ 4 yrs ago and tenant - I need a loan - Help!

I have bad debt from my uni days and can't get a loan - does anyone have any ideas? HSBC have said no as have Northern Rock - Welcome and Yes loans are crooks so does anyone have any options for a tenant with poor credit?

Cheers,

Can we ask what the loan is for, just in case we can come up with another idea?

Who was the CCJ with? And is there no way you can get it removed?

Several ways to try - had you moved? Any other reason why you reasonably couldn't have been aware of the summons? Can you not persuade the plaintiff to accept that the judgement was satisfied within a month so that it can be removed rather then merely marked as satisfied?

That's far and away the most effective thing you can do!
