I bought a house 6 month ago with my partner. the relationship has turned bad. we are in a2 year fixed rate mortgage. I can return her equity from deposit to her but bank wouldnt let me take mortgage on myself and that would incurr ridi ulous penalty. can i give her part of deposit back (which she wants) and continue pay mortgage myself. is there any way she can sign a form to say house belongs to me -and she has no claim even though name on mortgage. i will sell when 2 year is up..
