Max Factor Age Renew foundation shade 70 - gone ?? what alternative?

I've been using the above foundation for the last few years, it's perfect, I love the texture, the shade is exactly right for me.

I'm running out (only about 2 uses left in the pot I reckon), so I thought I'd take a look today on Boots & Superdrug websites to buy some more.

IT's GONE !!!. It would seem they don't make it anymore, and my guess is it's been replaced by this http://www.boots.com/en/Max-Factor-Ageless-Elixir-2-in-1-Foundation_1222533/ . Now cynics like me might suggest that this is probably the same thing, repackaged and charged at about 3 quid more. I wonder if the shade called natural is exactly the same colour ?

I'm wondering if anyone on here has used both the age renew and the new one, can you tell me if they match?
I'm disabled you see, don't have the opportunity in the next week to go to the shops to try it. - I have emailed MF to ask if they can send me a sample, but no reply yet.

I've also trawled ebay and amazon to find any old stock of Age Renew. None out there in my shade

Hi Easy, like you, I also use Max Factor Age Renew Foundation in 70 Natural. I would imagine its been discontinued and I'm gutted! Somebody was selling a pot on e-bay recently and the price went to over £30, I love the stuff but not that much! However, I have tried the Age Elixir in Natural which is very much like for like Age Renew- only problem was that I started to get large, painful spots on my face after a couple days of wearing it so I imagine I'm sensitive to whatever ingredients are in it, that's the reason I stopped using it because otherwise its an excellent foundation. I hope this has helped- my search for it continues!!
