Knitting patterns

There needs to be a craft section on this forum, don't you think?

Anyway, I am looking to start knitting again. I know there are lots of free knitting pattern sites, but most (as I can see) are American. Nothing against them, but they tend to have different terminology, yarn types etc. Does anyone know of any good UK sites? Thanks.

There is a knitter's thread within Old Style MoneySaving. Also a crochet thread there. Loads of us on there who can offer advice. You can register with Ravelry which has a huge range of free knitting patterns. https://www.ravelry.com/account/login

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies.
