Just saw the guys in my local store put up these big posters 'Celebrate 2012'...
Spend £50 in Argos and get a £5 gift card, spend £75 (yes that's right spend 75 quid) and get a £10 gift card.
And no you don't get the gift cards when purchasing gift cards.
Thanks to tintin2k2 on HUKD!

Just typical, I spent £60 last week but they don't have the items in stock again
would have bought then returned with the older reciept due to already built the items
SPC #329 £471/£500 banked

If you need to do things in seperate transactions, please let the cashier know right at the beginning, its a lot easier for both you and the cashier0

I used to use Argos a lot. However, by any measure, they're expensive for many items. They're clearly desperate for sales to offer £20 on a £75 spend.0

Hi, does anybody know from experience, if you buy something in Argos then return it as it's not suitable
do you get to keep the gift card? or do they deduct it from the refund?

17. If all or some of the products are returned under the Argos 30-day money back guarantee, thereby reducing the value of the original transaction to a) less than £50 (in respect of transactions between £50-£99.99) or b) less than £75 (in respect of transactions over £75 or more), the free vouchers must be returned. If the voucher is not returned, the voucher amount will be deducted from the money refunded.0 -
