The next day she covers one quarter of what is left.
The following day she covers two fifths of the remainder
and on the fourth day half of the remaining distance.
The cyclist now has 14 miles left.

How far has she travelled?

Suggested Answer:-

Answer = 57.1111 miles

Using 8x4x5x2=320 as the denominator:
Day1=40/320 of the distance Day2=70/320 Day3=84/320 Day4=63/320
Total travelled = 257/320 leaving 63/320
And 14x257/63 = 57.1111
