Hi
I have been invited to an ASDA magic interview on tuesday and was just wondering if people could help me out on one thing, i have heard that they often ask people to stand up and advertise a product to the rest of the group.
Is there anyone out there that can give me an example of one that they had as i am not very good at selling things to people
(but considering its a night shelf stacking thing ive applied for i doubt its very job relevant)
Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards
joe

talk about features and benefits
eg "this is a low fat sausage which means it is healthy as well as tasty"
"this pen is a biro, which means it has smooth flow ink and you'll be able to write neatly."Debt free 4th April 2007.
New house. Bigger mortgage. MFWB after I have my buffer cash in place.0 -
I work in retail.. Pick an item that you know a lot about yourself! Either food or non food it wont matter as Asda sell it all. Find an item you own yourself and prattle on about it. If you cant pick the item then just be confident about the item they pick and let them have it! Tell them why that item is better than its competitor etc.
Good luck!0 -
unless they've changed it recently, you normally get split into groups, then as a group have to promote an item (something we'd made from straws & sheets of paper!!!). It's more to find out how well you work in a team, rather than how good you are at selling0

Or watch Bid TV or QVC! I loved those shows because they were so entertaining, and when I came to help out my mum at a car boot sale I had the patter to sell anything!!!0
