The credit reference agency have just sold your details, you know, the real, updated ones to the debt collectors.
If you feel you may have outstanding debts, a credit search is the last thing you want to be doing.
Where do you think debt collectors get the info from.

registry trust only record ccjs. so you may have other debts besides that.

they dont sell details to debt collectors so god knows what rubbish vax is on about.
  • ok so how do i find out what debts i have ? if i do a search does that mean i am admitting to them ?

Not all debt is registered with credit files or the same one! I have 26 different creditors for example and only 10 are registered with Experian! Also it can be misleading For my Halifax credit card it says satisfied it isn't its been sold to another company! So worth getting a report from all 3 credit referencing agency's x

And you only acknowledge a debt by writing to them or making a payment i think
