Doshdog

I just received an unsolicited text from a loan company called Doshdog (it was sent from a mobile number). Naturally I won't respond as "they" will know my number is active. Has anyone else received this text? I expect this from the "have you had an accident?" brigade, but not from money lenders.

Just ignore it, like any other :spam:
Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

You would of thought google would of been the OP's first port of call .

  • I seem to get a load of these through on my personal mobile number and its very frustrating. The fact that they use a mobile to send it is even more bizzare rather then a proper company short code number.

They use a PAYG mobile number so that it's very difficult for the regulator to chase them. If the number is cut off by the regulator, they can just get another one.

The latest accident spam texts point you to a domain which is registered by a USA registered company (and against who the UK regulator is therefore completely powerless).

I too received this text (1st ever unsolicited text) and am delighted at the guaranteed acceptance it offers, us unemployed folk with no income and 43 convictions for credit fraud can find it difficult to get a loan LOL.
  • I have McAfee Security Call & message blocker installed on my phone, I have now blocked over 7 numbers relating to 'doshdog', I have started getting that annoyed with them I am now submitting their numbers to spam sites so they too receive uncopious amounts of unwanted messages, would be great if everyone could do the same, if I knew who & where they were I would go slap the boss if not too far away!

It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

Dosh Dog is a type of broker.

The mobile number you see on your phone infact comes from a computer.

I had a ding dong with GB Consumer Finance/ Pingtree Ltd owner Mark Kennedy as i responding STOP but my number kept recieving these texts and these were coming from a mobile number as well.

The company he used was Mobile Media Productions.

All our mobile numbers get loaded, message gets input into the software and bingo, they hit our phones.

    very annoying,

I still have contact details if anyone would like!!
Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?
