Natwest Approval time...

Hi Guys
Looking for abit of info. I've had a cash offer for my house aswell as a FTB who is looking for a 80% LTV mortgage through Natwest. I know they have an AIP for Natwest. Before I decide which to accept can any mortgage guru advise how strict Natwest are in offering a mortgage and what their current survey to offer time is?
I would appreciate anyones help!

Sorry - there are way to many variables to even consider a sensible answer.
Natwest have tightened up lately and are doing much less introduced business so assume they did it in branch. There are many love and hate threads on here regarding Natwest..
I am confident the Estate Agents will be causing aggro chasing them, so it really is a long as a piece of string I am afraid..
Most would be grateful to get a sensible offer in the current climate...I am a Mortgage Broker

As Dave rightly says there is absolutely no way of answering the question with anything resembling any accuracy. Having an AIP is a good start but only the first hurdle.
A cash offer would be the easiest option but at what cost? Only you know if the offer is enough for you. Try negotiating the difference between the 2 offers off your next purchase maybe.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
