Capquest - wrong person

Hi,

I have recently been called by capquest stating that I apparently owe them debt. I refused to provide any of my personal information on the phone call as they wouldn't state what it was regarding.
They did however ask me if my middle name began with "k" which it doesn't so that led to asking me if I had a middle name... they then asked my if my address was "St Marys" which again it isn't.

I have a faultless credit history and I have just ran a credit check confirming this.
I can only assume that they have the wrong person however I am now concerned that they will keep pestering me. They started by calling my parents house where I used to live but my parents then gave them my new phone number  and this is the first time I have spoken to them.

Should I simply sit back and see if they call again or does anyone have any advice on if I should be taking any steps now?

Thanks
Chris

wait until they write to you if ever, and just don't answer the phone to them or enter into any conversation to them.

They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

    Ditto.

Wait until they write. Which by the sounds of it will be never if they are after the wrong person at another address.

My only concern with these is that they often come with a incorrectly registered default on your file. But if they don't have the right person or address then that shouldn't be a problem in theory.
