What makes you think you can claim it back?

There has been no ruling requiring lenders to refund ERCs or MEAFs. The only ruling was that they couldnt charge anymore than what they said on the mortgage offer of the last deal bought. If they did charge more than you can claim back the difference.

When you port a mortgage you dont normally pay any exit charges unless you change the deal and suffer an ERC. That is a choice you make and it is not reclaimable.
