I politely asked for the day off and may i add not a paid day off, i only get paid for the hours i do.
Are you saying you were asking for unpaid time off, or that you don't get any paid leave? Because THAT would be wrong ...

  • Savy Sue, i merely asked for my shift off, i didnt ask for it to be paid or unpaid. I only get paid for hours worked. So it wasn't a point to bring up.....?

What a surprise having checked my bank account i haven't been paid for the hours i did work before i was off sick.
I also currently have holiday pay incurring for this current financial year and have asked for some hours to be including in my wages this week, to bring my earnings up a little. But not a penny in my account at the moment.

This is why I dont text - Much more better to pick up the phone.

Pick up the phone and speak to him rather than text

Don't forget to 'warn him first' and record the call :money:
