how do i become self employed?

hello how does my oh become selfemployed, he is a musician, and can i claim wtc and ct if i and my oh do this? i will not be working yet.

You can only claim WTC if your income to March 06 says you qualify.
To become self-employed you must register with the Inland Revenue as self-employed and start to pay your own NI contributions.
You would need to be working over 16 hours per week to qualify for WTC anyway.0
