Posted this before, but hoping there may be a bargain out there
I'm currently looking for an adapter to allow me to play my mini ipod in my car. I previously used a tape player adapter but my new car has a cd player instead.
I looked at the FM tuner attachment, allowing me to listen to the ipod through my radio tuner which looks pretty useful, I've also looked at units that I plug straight into my stereo.
Has anyone got any advice? I've looked at the Belkin Tunebase and Griffin RoadTrip but not sure if they're any good?
p.s I've got a 52 plate Renault Clio
Any help appreciated!

Sound is always very clear and there are no trailing wires.Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
We bought the Griffin Road Trip recently (from Amazon) and have just driven to the French Alps and back. Very easy to use and didn't have to retune that often over 800 miles (each way) so was impressed. Even when we did have to alter the frequency it was quick and easy. (The French do seem to have a lot of stations though so has to play around a little for spare frequency). The sound quality is far higher than I was expecting. Easily adjusts to tilt so didn't move around. Can't remember where the cig lighter is on the clio but I wouldn't say the one on our golf was the easiest to access and it fits fine. Money well spent in my opinion.0

I've recently bought the Belkin Tunecast II with power adaptor. This powers the Tunecast II and my Ipod Nano simultaneously from the cigarette lighter in my car. I've had it a few weeks and so far it works well. You can save 4 pre set frequencies, which is handy for long journeys.
