Buy UHT skimmed milk for OH 49p per litre at Lidl. Other supermarkets do it for this price but you either have to flip up plastic bit or cut corner whereas with Lidl you get a proper screw top thing like on premium juices.
That only applies of you consider "UHT skimmed milk" to be an adequate substitute for "milk", as opposed to being a white liquid that bears some superficial resemblance to milk but tastes nothing like milk.0 -
poundstrecher milk is 89p for 2ltr all types from 1% to full fat:rotfl: given up on tesco do a lot os boots offers. but weekends are now in orange trackside b. lol

would seem to suggest 2 litres (which would make it equivalent to roughly £1.01 for 4 pints).Stompa0 -
Aldi is hit and miss with the milk and the dates. Popped in this morning as I am working Thursday instead of today - done a shift swap with a colleague to help her out. I found the milk had Wednesday's date (2nd) not good if you live alone.
I find the same with Lidl, few weeks ago I was almost of Milk so went to buy some more and the dates were up before the Milk I had purchased a week before in the same store. Not sure how they managed that, other than poor stock rotation on the depot as I can't see them having a big store room.0 -
