please help problem with tesco wine order

I ordered 2 cases of cava on special offer on 14th Feb and used my 1000 extra points voucher so total cost £55.20 or something plus bonus points. 1 hour before delivery due (today) Tesco have phoned me and said they haven't had the wine delivered and they have cancelled it and I need to phone up and reorder it. They will not honour the special offer price end of. As far as I am concerened the email says order it by this time on this date to get it at the special price, I did that they said it was in stock and they should honour it and deliver it to me when they can get. Please any advice - sorry if this is in the wrong section this is my first post.

I think they should honour it too.
Tesco are normally good with things like that, if it said it was in stock when you ordered itjthen they should still deliver it.
They are the ones that have made the mistake so make sure you point that out to them next time you phone/email.0 -
after giving customer service ear ache they have offered to see if they can get me one case at the special price at the store - but that will mean no extra points - I am fuming it's for our wedding reception it's money I just don't have at the moment0

Thats bad how about getting in touch with your local paper would they be intersted do you think. Nice little story about the big profit making stores mucking up sounds ideal. Good luck for the wedding.0

this morning I rang wine warehouse went thru the saga (again) and they quite happily got me to put the order through and refunded the difference etc. That's all I wanted in the first place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still lets hope the manage to deliver it next week so I don't have to go through of all it again.....0

Similar thing happened to me just before christmas, they had some sort of computer blip and there were lots of us who did not get wine delivery. I could not get a delivery before christmas and I had used 1500 point code. Did not like their attitutde that I would just have to go back in the system and reorder. They just did not seem to care that they had let me down, and seemed very offhand and flipant about the whole thing.
So I went higher ended up getting wine delivered by courrier, 1500 points for trouble, 1500 points on wine delivery anyway, 20% off and delivery free. A couple of months later they sent me an email crediting me with 1000 points for inconvinance caused.
So for £56 spend on 12 bottles of wine ended up with 4000 points (£160) in deals.
