I think it is good advice and that you are over complicating matters.
For a straightforward case there is no need to check credit reports and no need to see an advisor.
Save deposit. Apply for mortgage. Job done.0 -
Okay, have requested the first two to be posted to me, and I'm looking at the Callcredit credit report online just now.
Daft question, what am I looking for??
All the accounts that are listed all have 0 OK listed in green on them. The two credit cards I have are showing that I have previously went over the credit limits, last time on one was Jan 2011, last time on the second was the same date.
There is a really old account listed, a HP agreement I had back in September 2004 for 2 years. Is that something that can be removed, or does it not matter that it's there?
Also, I got a bank loan last year, and paid it back a few days later (long story, family member gave me the cash instead). This shows on my file, does this 'harm' it in any way? Can or should this be removed?
