:j:j:j They are going to keep me on :j:j:j
I cleaned the work kitchen today - it was absolutely filthy, all my FL training came into practice and I even shined the sink!
Got my first payslip today. Despite clocking in and out every day I've only been paid for 16 hours. According to my records I've did 18.5 last week. I will let it go for now but will try to do stick to my allotted hours in future.
Drove through some scary flooding twice on the way to and from work. I had to go back through the floods on the way back as it was the quickest way to the petrol station and my car was running on petrol fumes. There is a long way home but I'd never have made it.
I've grabbed a sandwich now to get the littlies swimming stuff together before the school run.
Lamewolf - what a lovely thing to remember. I've know my DH 24 years on the 23rd of this month. We realised we liked each other on 29th July - our WA!
CY - Positive vibes for your girls.
Dusty - hope DS3's yukky tonsils are better soon.0 -

ive been busy playing extreme furniture tetris all morning the piano now fits in the lounge and the only thing thats had to move out is the mice now live in the hall. ive moved settees sideboards and dusted and hoovered as ive gone i even got slightly dsitracted by dh extensive dvd collection and started rearrianing shelves but reigned myself back in or id still be doing that tonight
not happy with the way the chair and settees are now but cant think of another way to best use the space. i do however hope the Ds will be using the piano or he will be in deep do do
was hoping today was lounge/living room day but i suppose it helps me when that does come round. better go and check what i should be doing.SPC~12 ot 124

Oh Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!! I have spent the day lounging, but DH has done toilet and shower room and will mop all the hard floors after tea. I bunged some bits in the slowcooker (another day and it would have to go into the wormery) so we have a tomato based pasta sauce. Off for another browse through mse and no doubt another power nap :T0

Miasnanny hugs for you, how ever many years pass I expect it still hurts. Glad you are resting.
Mrs MP I'm pleased now after my furniture tetris. Boys have asked for a piano here, they say they'd like lessons but I'm not sure they'd stick at it (Trumpet and Guitar both lasted about 1 year but they can be stuffed under the bed).
I've eaten a frog. Off to do dinner now.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Re the count your blessing bit in the list, my youngest DD bought me meatloafs new cd i listened to that while dragging furniture round this morning, one song had me in tears it was basically along the lines of money and material things dont matter, the only things that last are love and your soul.
it had me thinking how lucky i am thats for sureSPC~12 ot 124

there is a full sized drum kit languishing under piles of clothes in one of the bedrooms. in fairness to the boys one of their sisters moved out for a few years so her room turned into the drum room but sadly things ended in tears and shes back home, she now has to share her room with a drum kit but the lads cant get in to use it. one of them still has lessons so im hopeful it will get used again.
do i also mention digeridoo club (that has a choice of 5 digeridoos) 2 electric guitars, an acustic one, and a keyboard?
when i was a child i got offered the recorder take it or leave it.;)SPC~12 ot 124

Bathroom needs to get another bit of attention tonight, but not sure it will tbh, I'm pretty sleepy and need to make sure I cook the dinner I've planned to keep myself on track for Fat Club. I've also got some new crafty stuff, so think I might end up getting sidetracked in the craftroom
