Bubba number two is officially en route! :T
I stupidly sold all my baby items on as I was lacking space and thought the need for them was in the distant future... how wrong!!
Please if anyone finds any bargains for a cot, vibrating bouncing chair, floor mat or travel system, I would be most grateful!
Thanks to all the money savers out there, this site is pure gold!

Is there anyone you can borrow off?
Both my son's used the cot the family got for my brother's daughter, and now that cot has been passed on to another family member as well (we just buy the matteress), and I used a clothes basket linned with towels as a moses basket to keep near me if working upstairs or downstairs.
The same for the buggy- due to the difference in ages they get passed around to who ever needs them and when they are on last legs we all will chip in an buy a new one for the lucky baby.
The bouncer only got passed on the once, so we bought one from a local chairty shop (exact same one - the mama's an papa's one we had bought for £35, we got for £5!).
You could ask people to give these as gifts between them, or look on gumtree or the local paper?
It realy depends on you - are you looking to buy everything new again?

Thanks everyone... some great ideas! I have borrowed a high chair from family and have been given some lovely blankets. I have picked up a lamaze playmat at Tesco for £22 instead of £50-£60 and a baby carrier from Halfords for £15 instead of £45. I pick up most of my son's clothes through facebook selling sites and charity shops.... just thought it would be great if anyone could add any bargains for any of the following:
travel systems, little pram toys, a maternity / feeding pillow, moses basket
I am a freecycle member but haven't worked ebay out yet!!
Thank you everyone!0 -
Mothercare have their own make U move travel system for £100 it is blue with circles on it - product code is R2312. It should be £150 but is on offer at the moment - you get free delivery if ordered online and there is a two year guarantee with it.
There is a voucher for £15 off a £150 spend in the mothercare baby&me club - I added a travel cot and some sheets and scratch mittens and got the whole lot for £136 delivered.
Hope this helps you and good luck.0 -
Thanks clairecc... looks great. It's not clear from the website but in the first few months does baby sit in the car seat? Does it recline or is there a 'pram' mode? x0
