does anyone know if you have a joint mortgage with an ex partner, never been married but she wants to make me a settlement, for her to start a transfer of equity do i have to cancel my life insurance first?

By life insurance, do you mean a policy which is for pure life cover or an endowment.0

If its just life assurance should you not be able to cancel anytime you want?0
