Mildly curious to see if MSE is representative of wider society.

    Anonymous poll.

    UK graph below....

Interesting. 60% of the population earns at least £25k a year and at least 40% earn £32k. Vert interesting.

Why is that hypocritical? I do pay a huge amount of tax. OK it's not in the millions of pounds because I don't earn that much but it's a huge amount in relation to my small income and I'm very happy to do that because I like to contribute to the country. I don't have accountants for tax avoidance, I want to pay my fair share of tax.

Good for you, but to say it is a huge amount of tax is laughable. On £15k you'll pay £1,505 in income tax this year, hardly a "huge" amount nor a big proportion of your income either. I am guessing as a household you take more than you give. My household last year contributed in excess of £40k in income tax and I wouldn't even say that is a "huge" amount nor proportion of our income (but evidently significantly higher than you!).

Remember this is household income, not individual income.

Remember this is household income, not individual income.

Household income is the relevant thing to housing affordability though, whether that be buying or renting.

Can't you just stick to one ID?

If you spent less time trolling and more time contributing you'd probably get banned less often.

Household income is circa £125-135k give or take - it varies depending on bonuses.
