we thinking about buying a property. it has some large fur trees quite close tot he house. approx. 3M away. i will be cutting these down as soon as i move in. However will this affect getting a mortgage ?

It might.
It depends on the type of tree and the valuer's comments.
If there is a problem, get the sellers to remove them before progressing the purchase.0 -
May be commented on by surveyor doing valuation and may be subject to request for further information or action.
Not likely to affect mortgage unless roots have caused damage to foundation or drains.I am a mortgage broker.
