You know , I don't mind when people buy these items for friends and family and school fete's etc but I don't like it when GENUINE people who want a simple bargain for their family / loved ones try and get all they need and miss out BUT I happened to order something today on Ebay for my DGS & looked at the sellers other items and RECOGNISED MOST OF THE STUFF as Mr T's hard to get hold of bargain items...

Am fed up of seeing the bargains WE DIDN'T GET end up on FBAY!!! ;

You might recognise some of THIS sellers items - They managed to get FOUR of the Handy Manny bikes as well as an Evo Quad & other 'recognisable' items!!!

SORRY BUT GOTTA SAY I JUST DO NOT AGREE WITH IT!!! ..... It so unfair some poor kid somewhere is missing out because the greedmongers have stuck 4 of 'em on Ebay to make A PROFIT!!

We could ALL do that - I've been a seller for years but I just can't grab these reduced items to sell on for my own gain as to be honest it doesn't sit well with me at all and simply doesn't feel right!!!

You can bet your bottom dollar that the seller has never contributed to this site - just lurks and takes. I posted this on another thread:

I'm put off advertising on Grabbit where you're effectively working for eBay and associated locusts.......

........I'd like to see membership conditions for Grabbit, say for example, 10 useful posts (minimum thanks) per year or you don't get access.

I think this situation sums it up, any 'community' here is infiltrated and destroyed by the lack of control, I'd prefer to be amongst like minded family orientated bargain seekers and money savers.

I will admit to having not posted certain 'finds' on here, particularly items that are great bargains and easy to put in the post/flog on the bay. Once others start doing the same the forum will be destroyed, there will be nothing here. If some element of control isn't applied, we will be obliterated/vastly out numbered by the traders.

And the items we don't recognise are the bargains they found for themselves - if Grabbit had membership conditions, they would more likely 'share' these to maintain their access to the bargains we show them, then miss out on ourselves.....

Hmmm, I'm thinking of setting up a new site!!!!!!

WHENEVER I post something on the grabbit or on HUKD especially if it is an ABSOLUTE bargain of a price I get this strange but horrible feeling that there are some locust type people who NEVER EVER THANK ME and simply just want to GET THERE THE QUICKEST AND ORDER AS MUCH STOCK AS THEY POSSIBLY CAN FOR PROFIT!!!

That is why a grabbit or HUKD deal can LITERALLY sell out in minutes!!

Thing is I DON'T POST the deals FOR THOSE 'PEOPLE' ..... I can't STAND them myself personally because they are just sly , ungrateful USERS who don't give a DAMN about anyone else apart from themselves and would not give a FLYING HOOT that my disabled Grandson missed out on that toy BECAUSE THEY GOT THEIR GREEDY MITTS ON IT INSTEAD!!

Or that ANY OTHER child missed out!

All they care about is their PROFIT & about GAIN and GREED.....

So WHY do I still post on here then??? SO THAT SOMETIMES - HOPEFULLY A GENUINE , normal and DOWN TO EARTH regular family CAN BENEFIT FROM THE DEAL - Like the 2 little kiddies on their quads with the smiley faces .... DOUBT VERY MUCH Mum could have forked out for TWO OF THE BUY IT NOW HIKED PRICED ONES ON EBAY now :eek::eek:

So I do it for the regular people , hoping they get a 'look in' too , just wish it was MORE of a look in & that Ebay sellers were BANNED from these sites as what is wrong with these sites being for regular people using it for an UNCOMMERCIAL NATURE???

Okay , I used to have 100% but never mind - Have sold TONS of items over the years but none were from exploiting forums like this or from ANYTHING found on HUKD & atm I only now put the odd item on which might be too big or small for my DGS or my DD didn't like it etc!!! I could have made a fortune if I was unscrupulous and then I wouldn't have SHARED the deals I found in case the other SELLERS got hold of them but then is this REALLY meant to be a COMMERCIAL site because it really loses its charm for me if it is!

LEAVE THE BARGAINS FOR REGULAR FAMILIES YOU £££ SIGN EYED UNSCRUPULOUS EGREEDERS!

Thing is - I feel CONNED as the item I ordered cost me 16 quid & its probably something they picked up in the T or Argos sale for 6 quid!!! :-(

I bought this bike (not sure if it's 12 or 14") for my soon to be 5 year old, got it for £30 in Jan and its his birthday on tuesday - my oh built it up last night and i'm really pleased with it! I cant wait to see his face! I hope they honor it for you at £14 but if they dont its worth the £30!

Totally agree with people buying to sell - if i see 2 items on the shelf at a grabbit i cant take them both, something i've learnt from this forum just take what you need for yourself & dont be greedy. I wonder how many "sellers" will view this thread but not comment
