(Quote) Awwwwww a big sigh of relief from everyone I bet ... a very much deserved celebration Modesty - so glad everything's OK (Quote)
Thank you Rising, it was a good day. I'm glad Maisie is settling in well and hope the cats will soon accept her.

I had NSD 3 on Sunday, none since. DH is building an arbour for us to sit in if the sun ever comes out. He needed screws and paint today or it would have been no.4. Better luck tomorrow.

emslovesmickey, I hope your brother will be ok.

    Hugs to all.

If anybody's interested, Tefal Actifry are on offer on Amaz0n with 40 % off.

NSD 3 for me - not a good day cos my big brother has just been admitted into hospital. Poor bloke will be spending his birthday (tomorrow) in there.

Thanks .... we're making progress on the cat front - big cat is managing to sneak up / downstairs to go in / out and has just been to the open back door (Maisie lying in the lounge):j and wee cat has made it 1/2 way down the stairs :rotfl: - it's funny as she's a really feisty cat and I thought she'd be the one to stand up for herself (but I guess getting chased up a tree by a neighbours dog who'd escaped from their garden 3 days before Maisie arrived hasn't helped:().

Just back from a lovely walk on the beach - Maisie's never been before & ran away from the waves - but chased them when they went back out again which was really funny to watch.

Taking advantage of 1/2 hour or so while she's occupied with a bone to catch up on MSE threads as just don't seem to get online as much now :o

Anyway ...... No 5 today (can you tell I'm skint this month:rotfl:)
