    :rotfl:

Seriously productive day today, got the lawns all mowed, all my little seedlings moved into bigger pots & into the greenhouse under fleece & constructed my poly tunnel to put the strawberries in.
Also moved all the pots round, so the garden looks less higgledy piggledy now, it's amazing how much better a bit of sun makes me feel :D

Wow, your day sounds like mine, mowed the front lawn and side, trimmed the hedge (how I hate that hedge!), re-shaped my box bush into a box, and generally tidied the front garden - which resulted in 6 bags of garden waste  We have a low growing spiky palm type plant at the front which is still live and growing but had suffered a bit with snow. Well I went to saw off the dead bits and one part was more rotten that I realised - it STUNK and was all mushy and oozy inside - BLEUGH! Have cut away what I can and just hope that those open bits will dry out and it will grow some more (looks a bit odd and stumpy now) :o Also found a furry friend that our cat must've caught some time ago and left down the side path - gross also. Planted up a couple of tall growin palm things my mum got from work for £1 each, one is ok but one is next to another that got killed off by the snow but I could'nt dig out - added to the list of things to do. Tomatoes also potted out into bigger pots, need some sun and warmth atm as they are a little limp looking.

Oh, and to top it off....NSD #3 :j

Modesty - great news  deff worth celebrating xx

We went out last night to meet friends we hadn't seen for ages...and i got hiccups in the pub - seriously mortifiying :o

  • I would think of the extra money except i accrue everything over my contract. Still - extra time off later on i guess! Not an NSD today cos i spent over £300 in Argos getting a new wardrobe, chest of drawers, writing desk, chair, bedset and sofa bed.Had to do it today as there was £100 off when you spent £400.

Saturday is always spent travelling around so had to fill up with petrol, but at least I found some cheap @ £1.36.9. Cheap? I can remember when everyone was panicking that it had gone over 80p:eek:

Ah well, no plans to spend anything today so hopefully I can report no 4 later.:D
