Got my first one today - after last month am quite pleased with myself:

Oh, could I also go for 4 in a row as well please? Think I mentioned it on my first post, but it didn't show up in the first few posts.

Hi all:) thanks for all the lovely words & a special "hello" to Spoon and get well soon to LMH
Undecided on whether yesterday can be a NSD or not - so thoughts please!:)
I discovered "ziggy" hasn't been vaccinated for a while and as there are loads of dogs around here have decided it was a priority so she went to the vet for jab 1 then (felt a right cad having just got her the day before!).
However, the money came from the dog pot so was previously set aside ..... mmmmm NSD or not?
Still undecided on her board name but am thinking of Ziggy atm - she's not great on a lead and zig-zags in front of you trying to trip you up:rotfl:but that doesn't seem very "girly" IYKWIM so will try to come up with another ...... Daisy maybe.:)
However, I have managed to stay out the pet shop and managed No 1 today I will be getting her a new bed at the market on Sunday - I was tempted the other week but we weren't sure if she'd lie on it as she didn't really have one where she was ... so I threw a duvet on the floor which she's been lying on (but is a bit of a digger so it's ending up in in a heap all the time!
She's settling in nicely - a few woofs during the first night but a lot better last night. There's a wood nearby which is being turned into a wildlife reserve so you've got to keep dogs on the lead so not many dog walkers go there - it's really beautiful so that'll be our "walkies" place until she's had her 2nd jab in a couple of weeks.
Cats aren't amused - both have been upstairs but one managed to sneak down & go out earlier (goodness knows how I'll get him back in later) and the other came down, saw Ziggy and ran .... closely followedand is now camped out upstairs again - hopefully they'll all settle down soon.
Hope the new cc arrives soon - Dinky desperately needs fuel (wish I'd known it was going to be cancelled & I could've filled her up beforehand:rotfl:) and groceries needed too. Glad they're on the ball but does mean cash-flow is an issue just now (might have to raid a pot and pay it back at the end of the month:eek:). It seems to be happening to more & more people unfortunately and when I was in the Co*op the other day someone had had their bank account cleaned out  (one of the reasons I use the cc and never use my debit card for anything) which is awful.

Rising - I would count it as a NSD if it's already budgeted for (ie money taken from your account for that purpose already) but I tend to play fast and loose with what counts as a NSD
I'm at #2 here0 -
Rising -your girly looks soooo lovely. As she's a black lab - how about 'Magic' you do need something that sounds OK when you call out loud
NSD 2 yesterday - woo hoo. I've decided that if I spend any of the money already in my purse (as its out of my account) it doesn't count as a spendy. I think some of you are already doing that? Or am I wriggling??????Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
Rising, I too think it was an NSD as it came out of your dog fund and not your purse.
Bella means beautiful, that would suit her if you like it.
NSD 1 for me today, I'll try for one tomorrow as well.S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50

In that case ..... I'm claiming yesterday as No 1 and today as No 2 :j (sorry to whoever's on the update today:o).
I *think* I was going to try to be better at things like this (eg if it's in a pot so already set aside for something then it doesn't count as a spend, but any other spends that day do IYKWIM) - and thereby go for larger targets - but I never quite managed to get the hang of it
Anyway .... thanks again for all the lovely words about my new companion:D - she's settling in well although the cats are still in hiding;)
It's really a "forum" name I'm needing for her - she does have a rather lovely name (that totally suits her) but it's very unusual so I don't really want to use it on the boards.
I know a few people in RL that use the boards - which is great - but I don't necessarily want them knowing the ins & outs of my former debts / current money worries / former relationships etc (I do try to help out on the boards by sharing experiences where I can).
Anyway, I was thinking about "Ziggy" earlier as she's a nightmare on the lead & zig-zags in front of you trying to trip you up :rotfl:but it's not very "girly" - so still thinking!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
