 The fasting blood test you had was probably a fasting glucose test (maybe other things as well) to rule out diabetes. You can also ask for a glucose tolerance test too if you are still worried about diabetes.0

            CFS/ME is to some extent a catchall in that there isn't a definitive test to say 'yes you have it/no you don't' - but one of the primary triggers is a virus, in my case I was diagnosed with "post zoster chronic fatigue syndrome" (as it came on after I had a bout of shingles) nearly six years ago. Most people get over it in a matter of weeks but it can go on for months or even years. And it sounds as if your GP is trying to ensure that she's not missing anything.
 It's always possible that if I hadn't had 3 kids (including a new baby who has sensory problems and is probably ASD/ADHD), 3 house moves in 18 months, a nasty residency case, a husband who was on chemo for a very long time and appallingly bad advice about the graded exercise (having reported that I was literally grinding to a halt on the school run I was told to try and increase every day without the warning that I needed to bring it down to the point that I didn't grind to a halt!) it might have passed within a few weeks/months.
 Everyone I've ever met with ME/CFS is a person who was always busy, often with several things at the same time. But if it is CFS then in my experience the worst thing you can do is keep pushing yourself. So do yourself a favour and stop doing things that don't need to be done. Actually I don't say that lightly, it's very difficult to behave as if you're lazy when you're not, but for your own sake you need to learn how.                        Eat food. Not too much.
