xbox 360 wireless adaptor wanted

Hi

I need a xbox 360 wireless adaptor, but can only find the cheapest online at £59.99.

Can any of my fellow moneysavers find it any cheaper.

I am looking for one aswell.... so far the cheapest I have found is on play: at £54.99 + 2% cashback through quidco

On ebay they seem to be around £40-50 inc delivery

I doubt its much help but hopefully someone will know somewhere cheaper

I dont think it has to be an official xbox wireless adapter.

Any third party wireless adapter (providing it has a usb connection) should work

No any adapter will not work. It either has to be an official adapter or a 'gaming' adapter which is a similar price anyway.

Only joking mate, I did think that at first, there are ways to set a 3rd party one up to work, but as has been said itsabout the same price and streaming music/video may not work as well as it does on the MS wireless adaptor

I managed to get one cheaper via a catalogue and discount code- (Marshall Ward I think) so that may be an option. It did say it would take up to seven weeks for delivery but actually arrived much quicker than that.

I've bought a linksys wireless adaptor from ebay, the seller was from hong kong, but only cost £19. Not as pretty as the official one but it works fine.

It also works with the pc, or laptop.

The other way around this is to use a "ethernet to wireless lan adaptor"

You plug the xbox 360 into this unit using the ethernet cable which allows you to connect to your wireless network.
