Mortgage Advice Please...

Options
I split up with my partner Sep/Oct 2009 and had to extent my mortgage by another 5 year so I could affort the payment on my own. Middle of 2010 I applied to have his name taken off the mortgage but they wouldnt let me. I needed to put someone else on or pay off alot on the mortgage.
Anyway he still wants to have his name taken off and I would like that too as I dont want him being entitled to anything as I pay it myself.
I am thinking about applying to get his name off again as I have been paying it and coping, what are the chances of me getting it in my name alone or am I waisting my time?
Oh I am not allowed a guarantor as part of the mortgage is unsecured.

I hope someone can help me things are getting difficult between myself and my ex and I dont want to be left stuck in an unfair legal situation.

Thank you x x x

Depends on the lender, there will be some kind of affordability check in place which is unlikely to be as simple as "has she been paying it on her own for 3 years?"

If they wont let you take him off and hes giving you grief over it, why not pass him the number and let him try? It is after all, his account too.

    Hi there,

Assuming this is NRAM now, have you enough equity to take it away to another lender?

What is mortgage balance, approx. value and your income?
