    Dummies guide to clearing cookies.

This is applicable for when you have accessed the internet via INTERNET EXPLORER (the blue "e" icon) and not via anything else cos they're all different and this is the easiest to explain!

    Go to the Tools menu
    Then click on "Internet Options"
    Then click on "Delete Cookies"
    Then click on OK.

    Cookies are then cleared!

Recommend you do this BEFORE logging into Quidco.

Dummies guide to "click thrus" in Quidco.

Actually they are not click thrus in essence this is a misnomer. They are actually daily searches and you are limited to how many you can do a day.

    1. Log in to Quidco.
    2. Search for Kelkoo.
    3. When it finds Kelkoo, launch it and then search for something...anything! Hand cream, the name of a CD, saucepans...pick anything just search for something.
    4. When it brings up the list of items, click on one of them so it takes you to another "new" website.
    5. Job done - close down that "new" website.
    6. Close down Kelkoo.
    7. Now search for The High Street Web at the QuidCo home page.
    8. Repeat steps 3 - 6.
    9. Search for CarSource.
    10. Follow the instructions on the CarSource website.
    11. When finished, close down Quidco and go & lie in darkened room to recover :D

Kelkoo = ONE search per day @ 10p each
The High Street Web = TWO searches per day at 8p each
CarSource = don't think there is a limit but if you take the p*ss (i.e. more than one or two a day) you run the risk of getting kicked off QuidCo & ruining it for everyone so....be prudent.

When do you see the money in your quidco account? Done a few clicks, but not sure if they worked or not as it says money takes 2/3 months to come though

I still don't understand why you need to clear your cookies? Sorry - I sound like a moaning teenager - I'm just worried that I'm becoming a techno-phobe.

    Thanks.

QuidCo would probably give you a better, more concise answer as to why you should clear your cookies.

But in a nutshell, basically it increases the chances of your searches TRACKING. If there is no track....there is no cash back.

If you saw the amount of cookies that built up over a short space of time (if you surf the net a lot especially) you'd be quite shocked.

At the risk of sounding like a moaning teenagers Mum... just DO IT! ;):D

TurnAroundSue: Yes they do take a while to come through and sometimes a day or so to show up as being 'tracked' but as long as you clear the cookies each time, should be OK.

Sorry if this sounds dumb. But how do you clear your cookies?

The only cookies I know have chocolate chips in [tesco value ones of course]

:rotfl: Thanks for that, really made me chuckle!!

I don't tend to clear them between daily clicks as I don't mind running the risk of them not tracking- that said they nearly always do track but my cookies are cleared fairly regularly anyway for one reason or another. I always clear them when buying something through Quidco- so far everything but one thing has tracked.
