Steamed sponge pudding in electric steamer

I have got an electric steamer sitting in the back of a kitchen cupboard and as hubby has asked if we can have sponge pudding tonight, thought I might give the steamer a trip out!
Have never made one before other than in the microwave and I only usually do them in the small individual moulds and then freeze them.
Has anyone made one using an electric steamer and if so, any idea how long small individual ones would take. Recipe book that came with the steamer says 1.5 - 2 hours for a large one but no mention of timings for individual ones.
