Hiya girls do any of you know which dress this one is based on? I've googled loads but I'm not coming up with anything.

I've ordered it off another Chinese website but after all the reviews I'm reading I'm seriously considering going through paypal to get a refund :0(

I've asked a dressmaker how much this would cost to get it replicated and she quoted £1200-£1400 eeekk. This is too much so I thught I'd ask you lovely people :0)

danksybaby, I can recommend an excellent dressmaker who would likely quote you less than half that amount (she's making mine and it's stunning). She's in Milton Keynes, though, so maybe too far for you...

I've hunted high and low and wide and back to front and every which way - but I can't find this dress anywhere other than on the website that the pic links to and one called Lucky Dresses.

But I love a challenge (and am very bored off work sick) so will keep trying - after all it only took me a year to find a pic of my own wedding dress!

    :D

Ahh bless you....thank you!! I've been to a shop today and tried a few on and I've also fallen in love with this one:

Which one do you prefer? The only thing wrong with this one is the price again £1200 ouch.

    My head is battered now!!

Would it be easier if you got your budget sorted so you know what you can spend up to, and then try on dresses that come in around or under that. Or look on places like Preloved for dresses that aren't new but where you'll get more for your money.
Also if you go to a dressmaker, rather than asking for a copy of something you've seen (which some won't do anyway so they dont infringe on anyone else's design) why not say the sort of thing you want and see what they could do within your budget. You could change the price by having different fabric, maybe less or different detailing eg a lace fabric v beading.
If you just try on and fall in love with ones that are way out your budget you'll only be tormenting yourself!

I've found it now! Yay. :j

It's No 5971 from the Sweetheart Gowns collection! Their website has stockists, though I haven't looked at it!

Edit: I see you've added me an additional challenge! :D
I prefer the first dress, but then it's down to which you feel best in! Now that we know which one it is maybe it can be found cheaper (though with it being a 2012 collection that might be difficult) or even preloved?

I did try on others in my price range and the assistant kept me away from the expensive ones lol. I told her the dresses didn't seem right and told her what kinds I've looked at and liked and she brought this one out. It would have been rude to say no to trying it on haha xx
