at the end of the day we have to take responsibility for our own actions ...

i too am very obese over 15stone and only 5ft1 so a good 7 plus stone overweight ...

i have tried so many things to help me loose weight but none of them seem to help ... but i have to take responsibilty for my own actions, after all it's not like someone forced the food down my throat

hope he chooses his health ... good luck with it

'Can he eat Nando's, that's what he'll be worried about'...could you explain this?

Nando's Portuguese restaurants appear to serve mainly chicken in some form or other. Is that what your husband likes?

I think he needs to go back to basics and learn more about healthy eating. http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/treatments/healthy_living/nutrition/life_adults.shtml

GPs like to try and foist Orlistat on people with Type II diabetes even if they aren't huge. Luckily for me I'd read up and told the practice the nurse that I wasn't going to suffer spontaneous rear end eruptions since I don't eat pizza cr*p etc.

If OH doesn't stick to a very low fat diet he'll have rear end liquidity probs in a major way every time he eats.

In all the threads on Orlistat/Alli that's got to be the best way I've seen the adverse effects described :rotfl:
