Low credit rating loans
Hi,
I've been a bit of an idiot and I've gone and spent far too much money on my credit cards. I'd like to take out a loan to consolidate my debt (the cards have been cut up!) and make things more manageable. Right now, I'm being kept awake at night worrying about debt and how I'm going to manage it.
I have only been in the country for 18 months, and so I don't have a very healthy credit rating and obviously can't take out a secured loan.
I'd really appreciate any feedback that any of you can give me on this!

Have you approached your bank that you have your current account with to see if they can help? I was struggling to get a loan and got one from my bank (HSBC) as they could see I had managed my current account ok.
Is it a huge amount of debt that you have?
Another option maybe apply for a 0% interest card. HSBC have one at the mo which is 0% interest on balance transfers til Aprl 08.0
