Got an automated call from IPC Media?

Hey guys !

I got a call this morning & when I answered it said IPC Media have tried to contact you regarding one of their titles, we will call you back soon.

Anyone else had a call like this? I've entered so many comps I'm not even sure what I've entered lol. Tried to google IPC Media but it's not coming up with anything.

Any help would be great.

IPC own loads of mags - and many comps on here are from their titles.

I wouldn't be too hopeful though, they are known for calling comp entrants to offer magazine subscriptions. You get a recorded message like you describe when their automated system calls you but none of their call centre people are free at the instant you pick up.

WTC's are usually manual (the person dials your number and waits for you to answer), not automated.
