Hi, Just found this post after searching anemia.
I am currently on ferrous fumerate was given twice a day as my ferritin levels are low, I have been anemic twice before both times on ferrous sulphate but a different dr put me on these, they are so strong after feeling awful for 3 weeks on them, I have now cut down to just 1 a day.
I just wondered how long (I know how long is a piece of string) it was before you begain to feel relatively back to fit health again?
An update would be great! Thanks

Ive been on ferrous fumerate for 3 years and keeps mine ticking over but I still have anaemia. Every 10-12 weeks I also have a concentrated iron infusion that takes 8 hrs to go through...not nice.To repeat what others have said, requires education, to challenge it,requires brains!FEB GC/DIESEL £200/4 WEEKS0
