Live Auction of Property in North West 1400 today

Someone elsewhere has gone to some trouble to post a link to a live auction. If you are bored at work this afternoon it could be interesting (but bear in mind that the North West is a property black spot and that Auctions are unrepresentative of the real market - in my view).

How come all the northerners moan about expensive houses?0 -

Borders on Glodick where the riots were, but not too far from Lees (the gateway to lovely Saddleworth), serves a couple of tough council estates and an OK private estate. It looks like a fairly run down area but with nice views of the Pennines.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
Lot 59 looks to be a semi converted to a studio flat, probably dodgy conversion, BUT guide price £10-20k with a 12 month AST commencing on completion. At £10k that gives a 30% yield.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Don't any of the 'Southerners' here want a holiday pad?
C'mon, some bargains to be had up here.
It seems that the properties all pop up in the usual places, Burnley, Oldham, Rochdale etc.
Every area has its blackspots. It's not representative of all the NW by any means.0 -
