Live Auction of Property in North West 1400 today

Someone elsewhere has gone to some trouble to post a link to a live auction. If you are bored at work this afternoon it could be interesting (but bear in mind that the North West is a property black spot and that Auctions are unrepresentative of the real market - in my view).

Order of Sale:

What's wrong with lot 8? Anyone know the area?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Borders on Glodick where the riots were, but not too far from Lees (the gateway to lovely Saddleworth), serves a couple of tough council estates and an OK private estate. It looks like a fairly run down area but with nice views of the Pennines.

Lot 59 looks to be a semi converted to a studio flat, probably dodgy conversion, BUT guide price £10-20k with a 12 month AST commencing on completion. At £10k that gives a 30% yield.

Don't any of the 'Southerners' here want a holiday pad? :D
C'mon, some bargains to be had up here.

It seems that the properties all pop up in the usual places, Burnley, Oldham, Rochdale etc.

Every area has its blackspots. It's not representative of all the NW by any means.

Lot 44 looks to be in a nice area but only 1 bedroom.
