Loan enquiry
Recently applied to the RBS for repayment of bank charges!! But my main question is.?
Having closed a number of accounts with the RBS and merged all sums into one loan with RBS. I would ask the following, This loan includes the bank charges that I am asking to be repaid back to me, does this make the loan void in some way due to the fact it includes unlawful bank charges. Any clues would be helpful.

Sorry!! void? may have been the wrong term. My main point is that, The loan is made up of monies owed and what has been deem to be unlawful bank charges, Ie if the bank charges had not been applied to my accounts then I would not have had to borrow as much funds. The loan would have been for a smaller amount.0

Well if you get them back you will be able to use them to repay part of the loan and make it smaller.0

You can't have the same money back twice.
I would say you have a strong case for getting your loan payments reduced on the same terms though if the refund is significant.
