Couldn't find a 'pulling-out hair in frustration' smiley, hence the 'Grrrrr'.
Car insurance is up for renewal so went through TCB and found a company with a good cashback offer. Clicked-through, spent 10 minutes box-filling, clicked 'submit' and up popped the message 'Sorry, we could not give you a quote online. Please phone *********'.
Talk about trying to avoid giving cashback (and an 18% discount for online purchase to boot).
Anyone else had this with insurers ?.

I haven't but l was wondering if you have emailed TCB just to let them know as surely such companies using such tactics should not be on cash back sites0

They like using delaying tactic do insurance companies. Got insurance for car in September 2011. Didnt track, sent off a note to TCB after 7 days. Then this was put on hold for 3 months. Now its on hold again until June. I shall not being using Legal and General again it was bad enough having to get grief providing ownership as I just got car and garage sent details back to dvla and it can take 3 weeks I got loads of threats from them
