New postal prices and combining "1sts" and "2nds" on large letters, allowed?

I am a large volume large letter user and I need to know if multiples of non-price marked stamps are allowed?

For example.


Before the rise, a large 2nd class stamp is bought at 75p, and is worth 90p after April 30.

Can I send a large letter weighing 501 grams after April 30 which will cost £2.30 by fixing 2 x 2nd large letter stamps plus an ordinary 2nd class stamp?

Other large letter combinations are:

101-250g - £1.20 =same as= 2 x 1st class stamps (60p each)

251-500g - £1.60 =same as= 2x2nd class stamps (50p each) plus a first class stamp (60p)

501-750g - £2.30 = same as= 2 x 2nd large letter (90p each) plus a 2nd class stamp (50p)

I need some conformation before I blow the best part of several grand hedging our future postal costs.

I'd also appreciate if someone could tell me if I could add 2nd class stamps bought now to pay in full the cost of special delivery items as I often send items special delivery (£7 now but unsure of new prices).
Will they complain at PO if I do this and just ask them for the special delivery stickers?

I've been using combinations of non-price marked stamps to send my eBay sales out for years and I've never had ay return on me, and the post office has never refused to accept them. I have been told by one post office that non-price specific stamps can't be used in combinations on airmail, but I have been unable to find any confirmation of that anywhere, I've continued to send them and never had any returned.

I've never used them for special delivery items.
