Hi I am wondering what the best way is to raise £3,000. Thats all I need to settle a couple of pressing matters I have. So who can do the best loan with this small amount I need.

I think the Polar Ice Caps would have melted before we coerce enough information out of you in order to help.

Tell us about yourself, do you work? How much do you get paid, do you have any debts, do you have a perfect credit history?

Yes I work but lowly paid around 12,000 per year. Hubby had a stroke in 2010 and has now got short term memory problems and scrambled long term memory. He will never work again so gets DLA icontribution based ESA and a couple of small pensions. I need to find about £1500 to pay off my eldest sons masters and our boiler is broke and we need a new one so the rest of the money is for that. We have all the other normal bills like gas, electric, water, a loan , a morgage and are able to pay everything and do the shopping and could afford a small low cost repayment loan. Hope that helps

£3k should be achievable on a £12k salary as long as you have no other debts.

Nationwide will conduct a soft search (not reflected on your credit file)

Half of MSE will be queuing up to ask why your son isn't funding his own education but hey, lot's of us are Parents :)

Can the boiler not be repaired for less as opposed to a full replacment?

Yes, I was wondering about that. My son funded his own Masters Degree - I thought that was usual.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

I funded my own car but i'm yet to know another person my age who does. Parents buy them all but not for me :(

I guess parents like to help out when they can even in a struggle.
