Skipton BTL mortgage web pages - bonkers or is it me?

this page says "How to Apply" with a link to "Online"
http://www.skipton.co.uk/mortgages/buy-to-let_mortgages/2yrBtl_70ltv.aspx
If you follow that link, you are told here:
Step 1
a first time buyer/s (someone who has never owned a property)
a new or existing customer(s) moving house
re-mortgaging your home
So in fact, you cannot apply - or even get a calculated illustration - online!
Are there any Building Societies or Banks that at least allow an in-principle (or even "in theory") calculation for a BTL purchase budget?

It's you!
Where does it say you can't apply online?0 -
It says you can only do a DIP online for residential mortgages.
Ive used skipton a couple of times, we have a different website for brokers. Im sure they can do dips online for BTLs. It does seem a little daft doesnt it.
I guess you stuck with having to speak to someone....or going elsewhere. I do quite like skipton though, they seem to make it all quite painless.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Happy if they were upfront about it instead of having me peer at confusing pages looking for the 'missing link'.0

I found Market Harborough BS had the best rates for our BTL and gave online quotes.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

"Our Buy-to-Let mortgage products are not available online, so please contact our Mortgage team for more information or an application form" - does Market Harborough BS really have online quotes for BTL?0
