I read a few months ago in The Mirror or Sun about a jewellery franchise where you can start off with about £75 to buy stock. Unfortunately I didn't keep a note of it and I haven't found it on searches. can anyone help with this or similar suggestions? I have found that jewellery sells very well at car boot sales and craft fairs, but we don't have any of our own left!

You'll not do well selling bought in jewellery at craft fairs, as the organsiers won't really let you in, the point of craft fairs is for people to sell items they have made themselves.0

I bought in goods and attended loads of craft fairs, the smaller ones are a lot more relaxed about it. However, they were over run with jewellery stands, more competition, and they didn't do very well. I had a niche product so did alright, but eventually I had to pack it up due to the recession. People don't have spare cash to fritter away on non essentials any more. If you live near Manchester, try Jewellery World for stock.

A few craft fairs now say no more jewellery or cards as everyone seems to be doing it.0
