Shortfall Advice needed

Hi am hoping that I might be able to get some good solid advice on how to deal with/sort out the situation below.

I currently joint own a property with my ex (we are on reasonable enough terms) and owe approx £124k on the property. £118k is secured and the other £6k unsecured.

Thinking of selling up as the stress is affecting me.........likely to possibly be a shortfall of around £15k with fee's etc etc so was wondering what my options may be?

Contacted NRAM who the mortgage is with and they basically said we'd have to get a loan for any shortfall? All ideas really appreciated

Thanks
